Merve Aktar

Le Dr Merve Aktar est spécialiste en néphrologie à l’Hôpital universitaire Biruni. Elle a achevé ses études de médecine à la Faculté de médecine de l’Université Hacettepe en 2013, sa formation de spécialité en médecine interne à l’Hôpital de formation et de recherche İzmir Bozyaka de l’Université des sciences de la santé en 2018, puis sa formation complémentaire (fellowship) en néphrologie à la Faculté de médecine de l’Université d’Ankara en 2022.

Elle a été directrice du Centre de transplantation rénale de l’hôpital VM Medical Park Florya et maître de conférences à la Faculté de médecine de l’Université Istanbul Aydın. Elle a également exercé dans des hôpitaux à Kahramanmaraş, Iğdır, İzmir et Pazaryolu avant de rejoindre l’Hôpital universitaire Biruni.

Ses domaines d’intérêt clinique comprennent la transplantation rénale et le suivi des patients après la greffe, l’hémodialyse et la dialyse péritonéale, la maladie rénale chronique et l’insuffisance rénale aiguë, les maladies glomérulaires et la protéinurie, l’hypertension artérielle, les troubles électrolytiques et acidobasiques, ainsi que la gestion des traitements immunosuppresseurs. Elle est membre de la Société turque de néphrologie et de l’European Renal Association (ERA).
